  Overland Trail Elementary School was named a Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education and received the Blue Ribbon Excellence in Education National Award in 1994. Overland Trail Elementary students have frequently received recognition at math contests, the National PTA Reflections program, and the Father of the Year essay. Nearly 85 percent of our fifth grade students meet the rigid President's Educational Excellence/Achievement Award requirements.
